About this course

Interconnection

This course explores the basics of interconnection as well as revenue assurance controls related to it.

About This Course

Interconnection revenues can contribute as much as 30-40% of a network operator’s total revenues, with interconnection costs being the single largest cost of sales item in the profit and loss account of a company.

Interconnection, therefore, has a significant impact on each operator’s financial performance, and needs to be effectively managed and assured.

In this module we will look in more detail at this important revenue stream in relation to the Product and Offer Management and Order Entry and Provisioning elements of the Interconnection business processes, as well as the role that Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management (RAFM) plays in the process.
